During this time, we want to assure you that our doors remain open for beachside stays, including self-quarantine with social distance-friendly keyless self-check-in. Many other Cayucos small businesses and restaurants are also remaining open to serve you in compliance with local mandates.
The health and safety of our staff and guests is our number one priority. As always, we are working diligently to maintain a safe environment in our facility so that you may enjoy your time here. With regard to the ongoing concern surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), please understand that Pier View Suites is taking all appropriate precautions to make the property safe for our guests and staff. The staff continues to clean and disinfect all areas multiple times daily including public spaces and guest suites.
Additionally, we encourage all guests to stay healthy and safe using the following best practices:
• Work out, eat well, hydrate, and get plenty of sleep every day—and don’t forget to get outside, the sun is a natural source of wellness.
• Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly for 20 seconds at a time and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available.
• Cover your mouth with a tissue—or your upper sleeve when tissues are not available—when you cough or sneeze and wash your hands afterward.
• For additional recommendations, please review the CDC website.
Additionally, we are currently limiting on-site daily housekeeping refresh services for stay-though guests with the exception of contact-free fresh towel exchanges. We will only enter your private suite prior to self-check-in and after self-check-out for the social-distance safety of our staff and guests.

Our hotel now features a 'virtual' front desk, meaning there is no lobby. The Pier View Suites Team is on-site daily for housekeeping and our on-call Management Team is available to assist you at 1.805.995.0014. If you reach our voicemail, please leave us a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.
MOBILE KEYS, SELF-CHECK-IN, AND SELF-CHECK-OUT
Please download the OpenKey App on your iOS or Android smartphone. When your suite is ready for check-in, you will receive a mobile key to enter the hotel and your private suite. Once activated, you may add up to four mobile guest keys per suite. Simply tap the lock before holding your phone up to the door and voila; your smartphone is now your personal key until check-out. We are happy to arrange an early arrival or departure if possible.

If you will not be traveling with a smartphone, please contact us to in advance to request traditional key cards for your stay.
All occupants must be registered including adults, children, infants, and pets. Extra adults, children or infants are $60/person per night if the base occupancy of the suite is exceeded within the maximum occupancy. Pets are only allowed in the Bungalow Suite A (230) and Bungalow Suite B (231); any evidence of pets in non-pet friendly suites will result in a $150 cleaning fee plus tax. All suites are non-smoking; any evidence of smoking in any suite will result in a $300 cleaning fee plus tax. Bungalow Suite A (230) is handicap accessible (ADA compliant). Bungalow Suite A (230), the Bungalow Suite B (231), and the Pacific Premier Suite (220) can each be entered without stairs.
Multiple-Night Bookings: 50% of the total price is billed on the day of booking as a deposit and the remaining 50% is billed at check-in.
Single-Night Bookings: 100% of the total price is billed on the day of booking with 50% refundable and 50% as a deposit.
Same-Day Bookings: 100% of the total price is billed; non-refundable.
We accept Visa, Discover, and Mastercard. Prices do not include gratuity for housekeeping attendants.
Security Policy: Your payment method and personal information is always safe. Our secure reservation software, Little Hotelier, encrypts all personal information including credit card number, name, and address so it cannot be read over the internet. A $200 authorization charge is required before check-in for incidentals.
Advanced-Notice Cancellations: If cancelled prior to 1 day before arrival, the suite(s) will be set as a priority to re-book. The 50% deposit for each night that is successfully re-booked will be refunded. The 50% deposit for each night that not re-booked will be forfeited. Late-Notice Cancellations: If canceled within 1 day of arrival, 100% of the total price is forfeited. 100% of the total price is forfeited for no-shows. Alternative cancellation policies my apply to reservations made through third-party booking agents such as AirBnB, HotelsTonight, etc.
Failure to arrange for unregistered occupants, group events, or any damage to a suite authorizes management to charge the registered guest's credit card for additional lodging, repair, and/or cleaning costs.
Pets are only allowed in the Bungalow Suite A (230) and Bungalow Suite B (231); any evidence of pets in non-pet friendly suites will result in a $150 cleaning fee plus tax. Pets are counted as an occupant and can be charged an additional $30 fee per pet per night during the reservation if the number of occupants exceeds 4 in either suite. All pets must be registered at check-in. Failure to register a pet may result in additional fees, suite change if available, or cancellation without a refund.
Licensed service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person's disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
Our hotel's dog parklet is located in our parking lot for your convenience and complimentary treats are available in the lobby. Cayucos Beach is a pet-friendly; a leash is required by law.
While we love all dogs, our insurance prohibits us from welcoming these breeds: Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, Dobermans.
It is the responsibility of the guest to include all adults, children, infants (age 0+), and pets on the registration form at check-in. Failure to disclose the entire number of people or pets may result in additional charges or cancellation of the reservation (see Cancellation Policy below).
For sanitary reasons, we do not offer cribs or pet beds. We do not offer additional roll-away beds.
Our normal beds feature down comforters and pillows. However, we are happy to use non-down/feather hypoallergenic bedding and pillows instead. Please notify us in advance.
Reservations can be made by phone, our website, or internet booking systems such as Booking.com, Kayak.com, etc. Prices vary based on internet booking systems and we cannot apply discounts, promotions, or specials to reservations made by these third parties. Most of our specials and discounts can only apply to phone reservations. All rates are subject to tax.
We offer call-in discounts for all suites with consecutive stays of 3+ and 7+ nights. Not applicable to reservations made online or combined other specials.
Generally, 2 night minimum stay is required for weekends during high season, holidays, and special events.
AAA/Military/Senior rates are the same as our Three Night Discount rates which are offered with any stay of 3+ nights; call only
Each guest suite is non-smoking. Guests are welcome to smoke outside on designated suite balconies: Executive, Chateau, Orient, California, and Urban Suite. The garden patio lounge is also a designated smoking area. Ashtrays are provided. A $300 cleaning charge will be billed to any suite wherein evidence of interior smoking or any other illegal activity has occurred.
We are happy to offer our guests complimentary parking in our private parking lot of our hotel which is accessible on E Street. We are not responsible to any damage or theft to your car or personal items. Luggage ramps to the second floor are located on either side of the parking lot. Our staff is happy to assist you with your luggage by request.

If any personal items are left behind in your suite after check-out, we can arrange to mail them to you for a shipping and processing fee.
To ensure a peaceful nighttime atmosphere for all guests, only registered hotel guests are allowed in suites or on hotel premises after 10:00 PM. Please be considerate of others.
In addition to our normal business-hour phone number 1.805.995.0014, a 24-hour number will be provided for registered guests for after-hour emergencies.
Inappropriate behavior may result in removal from premises without a refund.
All rates and prices are subject to the San Luis Obispo County 12% occupancy tax with the exception of extended stays of 30+ nights.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
